If your question is not here contact me
When you request a quote I will ask to hear a rough mix of your song(s) and we’ll discuss any potential issues I’m hearing and any concerns you have about the recording. After you upload tracks for mixing, if I’m hearing anything that I think is a problem area and I can’t fix it for some reason I’ll make recommendations on what I think is the best way to proceed. That’s pretty rare actually. If you haven’t started recording yet and want some advice on guitar tones, bass tones, drum mic’ing, etc. please feel free to reach out to me. I want you to get the best mix possible and it all starts with the recorded tracks.
I always strive to provide quick turnaround times. Generally speaking, I’m spending a full day on each mix if not more. When you request a quote, we will discuss your songs(s) and what your vision is for the project. I’ll also go into what I hear in your rough mix (if you have one) and what I’ll be doing to give you the best mix possible. I’ll also be able to answer any questions you have about the process.
I’m in Los Angeles, California. I work with clients worldwide remotely. Usually I do revisions and mix notes via email.
Delivering tracks to me is easy. I will send you a link for your own custom DropBox folder where you will drag and drop your files.
I will also send you a pdf that explains everything you need to know about how to prepare your tracks for mixing. It has the answers to many questions you may have regarding the process.
Payments are processed through PayPal which accepts credit cards as well. I require a 50% deposit before starting a project. The remaining 50% is due when you’ve approved the mix. If you have an album or EP project you can pay as I complete each mix if that helps financially.
I mix in the latest version of Pro Tools Ultimate. It doesn’t matter which DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) you used to record your project, I can import the files and mix in Pro Tools. I’ve mixed projects for clients who use Logic, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper, etc. This is all explained in a track prep pdf guide I will send you when you request a quote.
